APPA e.V. – African Pentecostal Pastors Association
About us
God designed the African Pentecostal Pastors Association e.V. (APPA) to be a living organism. Therefore we look to Jesus Christ the Head of the Body, to produce life and ministry in and through us. We view love for God and people as our primary purpose, based on what Jesus identified as the Greatest Commandments.
THE VISION OF APPA
- We aim to unite African Pastors in Berlin/ Brandenburg for Christ and build bridges to others.
- We aim to reach that unity through the love of God and credibility of the Bible to define love and really work in love towards one another.
- We build a relationship bank by recognizing one another’s work.
- We discipline ourselves to full heartedly engage in what we aim to accomplish.
- We organize pastors’ retreats and all-night prayers to sharpen our unity in the body of Christ and also to be examples to other African pastors and churches.
- We have two retreats in a year, in May and November. In regards to these months retreat, there will be no extra monthly meeting. Every July, we hold pastors’ seminars. The speaker can come from internal or external source. Again once in a year, we either hold an open air concert or a conference.
- Our believers’ all-night shall be conducted every March.
- By mutual understanding and support, we assist our members in their programs, which brings a characteristic of encouragement to our bond of unity.

How everything began
APPA’s early beginnings date back to 1998 when Pastor Dr. Aidoo and his wife Maame Leticia felt commissioned by God to hold a conference for Jesus and for the city of Berlin together with many pastors. The plan was put into action. They invited Dr. Morris Cerullo from the USA as a guest speaker. This became a milestone for fruitful cooperation.
